What we offer:

Competitive Flat Rate payPay rates vary depending on experience and qualifications.No cap on hours for self-motivated technicians: never a shortage of work, flag all you want with plenty of carry over to the next day sometimes three.Average # hours flagged: 140 per two weeks w/ high performers in the 200-hour range.Service Department is Open: M-F from 7-6 and Saturdays 8-5

About our shop:

Busy Service Department: Central Dispatch with 6 Advisors. Average RO count is 2000 and usually 2-3 days’ worth of ROs in the dispatch office.46 bays + 4 quick lube rack: 1 bay per tech (high producers have 2) Highly qualified parts team and parts staging area organized by RO for upcoming work.Parts Runners for active jobs to deliver parts and Porters to help move vehicles in and out of bays.State of the art shop equipment, all CJD specialty tools. Air conditioned shop (not swamp coolers), high speed doors and updated led lighting.Professional & FUN work environment (techs who support each other). Fast-paced but easy-going work environment, family friendly environment.Supportive leadership. Manager is detail oriented and puts the customer first, promotes family and is easy to get along with.

Responsibilities:

The Automotive Service Technician is responsible for swiftly and accurately performing automotive repairs and service in accordance with store and factory standards while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.

Diagnose cause of malfunction.

Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.

Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.

Document work performed on repair order, record test procedures/results & time, per company recording & clocking procedures.

Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanics tools.

Qualifications:

Prior automotive repair experience preferred

ASE and manufacturer certification, desired

A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service

Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence

High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required. Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence necessary for select roles.
