About the Role & Program
The Franchise Marketing team at Lucasfilm is responsible for maintaining the Star Wars Franchise as a 365 d/y brand. Made of up of a team of experienced marketers, we are responsible for developing the overall brand strategy, planning and execution behind the Star Wars franchise, both domestically and internationally.
The approximate dates of this in-person internship are June 2025-August 2025 in San Francisco, CA.
What You Will Do
As an intern on our team, you will gain first-hand knowledge how to manage a global brand as well as how to launch upcoming streaming and theatrical releases.
On any given day, you might:
Help coordinate events and toolkits as neededBecome acquainted with Lucasfilm’s location and history to help with tours for outside guests and VIPsAssist with presentation prep on PowerPoint & KeynoteManage and fulfill asset requestsOrganize and maintain storage/swag rooms and inventory of prizes and mailingsCoordinate meeting schedulingAssist in Organizing the international team database and documentsRequired Qualifications and Skills

Current Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Media, or related degree

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.Be at least 18 years of agePossess unrestricted work authorizationAdditional Information
Must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internshipThe approximate dates of this internship are early June 2025- August 2025Must be fully available between to work during standard business hours, as well as flexibility to work some evening/weekend events as neededMust provide own housing and reliable transportation during the internship in the San Francisco, CA areaThe pay rate for this internship in California is $22.00 per hour.
