**Job Title: Lumber Yard Associate** **Job Description** -We are seeking a dedicated Yard Associate to join our team. -The primary responsibilities include loading and unloading materials arriving by truck or trailer, either by hand or using a forklift after training. -This physical position requires working both indoors and outdoors. -After hiring, you will be trained to operate a Hyster 50 or Hyster 80 forklift. -Additionally, you will pull and stage orders to be shipped out on company trucks or customer vehicles. -Attendance is our top priority; we can train you on the rest. **Job Duties:** -Loading and unloading materials coming onto the site by truck/trailer either by hand or using a forklift. -Physical position working inside and outside. -Will be trained to operate a Hyster 50 or Hyster 80. -Pulling and staging order to be shipping out on company truck or customer vehicle. **Pay Rate:** $20.00 To $21.00 an hour (Depending on experience) **Additional Information:** • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. • Ability to stoop, bend, walk and effectively communicate. • Able to drive company vehicle when needed. **Additional Skills and Qualifications:** • Knowledge of receiving/inventory control principles, practices and protocols. • Knowledge of dimension lumber, panel products and other building materials. • Ability to read and interpret “picking tickets” and invoices. • Ability to concentrate and attend to detail amidst a busy work environment. • Acceptable driving record preferred **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
