Siemens Gebze factory is the lead factory for Air Insulated Switchgear production in Siemens World and exporting to more than 80 countries worldwide! For our Smart Infrastructure Electrification and Automation Division in Gebze we are searching for a Design Engineer. This role will be designing and developing low and medium voltage switchgears!
What part will you play? Designing and developing of LV and MV SwitchgearExecuting special customer designsBeing a part of product enhancement activitiesResearching possible solutions to customers’ requests and calculating estimated engineering and material costsPreparing material list (BOM), assembly drawing and part drawingPursuing the work on production and assembly linesGiving technical support to sales/after sales departmentsWhat you need to make real what matters. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Advanced command of Turkish and English, German is an asset Expertise in using CAD programs (preferably Solidworks) Being involved in factory operations is an asset Good command of MS Office applications Be eager to design Driving license is required and applicant must actively drive
