\nAs a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you play a crucial role in a healthcare team. You evaluate patients, provide care, and participate in care planning, intervention, and evaluation. Focus on precision, vigilance, and patient care. Note and report any changes in patients' conditions to your Registered Nurse supervisor. Follow Texas Nursing Practice Act regulations.
\nEssential Functions of the Role
\n\nConduct thorough assessments using clinical reasoning and best practices following the LN Scope of Practice. Your findings will help the Registered Nurse create care plans and set goals.\nParticipate in evaluating nursing practice effectiveness and quality, by reviewing and examining specific indicators in nursing.\nCreate a caring, safe, healing, supportive, therapeutic environment.\nManage pain, promote comfort, minimize suffering.\nFacilitate education for patients, families, nurses, and other healthcare team members, as well as the community.\nWork with others to implement a care plan under RN/provider direction, including team members and community.\nEmploy strategies and utilize available resources to solve problems for patients, their families, and staff.\n\nKey Success Factors
