We are seeking an LVN to join our team.
Our clinics are high volume clinics, treating 45-50 patients per day, per provider. Candidates must have the ability to operate under constant pressure to maintain the flow of clinic and meeting patient needs.
Position Highlights
Work environment: Urology Clinic
Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday-Friday / Day Shift

Position Summary
LVN will maintain patient records, take and record vital signs, ROS, HX, allergies and medications for MIPS, collect blood or urine samples and perform routine lab tests. Communicate results, administer injections and medications/ watching for adverse reactions to medications. Assist during examinations as necessary, cleaning and changing of dressings as needed, monitoring patients conditions, perform catheterizations, prepared and positioned patients for procedures, set up and maintain equipment along with sterilizing medical equipment and exam rooms, explain procedures and treatments as needed, working with the patient and the families of patients to educate them how to provide follow-up and preventative care, coordinate patient care plan with physician, complete discharge planning and reinforce physicians' instructions on invasive/un-invasive procedures, surgical procedures and post-surgical conditions, scheduling/ rescheduling appointments as necessary, schedule/ reschedule surgeries, answering phones for triage patients/ hospitals/ doctors, work flow (tasks, voicemail, charting), help manage OSHA, assist supervising Medical Assistants, train new medical staff as needed.
Worked cohesively with multiple staff members to effectively provide the highest level of nursing care to all patients, demonstrate ability to assist staff in emergency code situations, build trusting relationships with patients, family members, medical staff, and administrative personnel at each assigned location.
Qualifications
+ Must have an active Texas (or national) LVN or LPN license.
+ Urology experience is a plus!
+ Minimum of 2 years' experience in a private practice clinical setting.
