LVN'S WITH ED OR URGENT CARE EXPERIENCE DESIRED
Scheduled hours may vary and includes rotating weekends; May be scheduled 4, 6, or 8-hour shifts depending on departmental need.
Position Summary: The Licensed Vocational Nurse assists the Registered Nurse in the delivery of nursing care. In addition to performing all duties and responsibilities of the Nursing Assistant, the LVN also assists in patient teaching assignments and is required to pass medications. May perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications: [Required] Valid License Vocational Nurse issued by the State of California. High school diploma or equivalent. Education necessary to meet licensure requirements. BLS, Basic Dysrhythmia, must have a valid certificate showing completion of course in I.V. Therapy and Blood Withdrawal which has been approved by the L.V.N. Board or I.V. Therapy and Blood Withdrawal certification noted on L.V.N. license or obtain within 90 days of hire. Knowledge of theory, techniques and practices of vocational nursing.
[Preferred Qualifications]: ACLS. Microsoft computer applications; acute care experience as an LVN.
Salary Range: $27.22 - $38.31 hourly. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
