Summary
Seeking a professional to execute placements and drive growth in the Tax Liability Insurance business within the M&A team, across the UK and internationally. The role involves leading placements, negotiating with insurers, writing reports, operational/compliance responsibilities, and business development.
The Role
Responsibility for growing and building on insurance business within the M&A team in the UK & internationally ensuring the delivery of revenue targets, in a compliant and ethical manner. Will provide directional management including financial and operational responsibility whilst adhering to Group standards. Will identify, manage and develop client, insurer and team relationships, and convert prospects. Help maintain staff competence by ensuring that staff skills or knowledge gaps are met with appropriate training and development, so they are able to perform to their maximum capability. Provide leadership, direction, advice and guidance to the team maintaining high levels of integrity and morale.The Requirements
Educated to a degree, or MBA level (or country equivalent)Experience in advising on mergers and acquisitionTax qualified with extensive tax advisory experience (ideally in a Big4 accountancy firm)Experience in business development, in particular in developing strong relationships and identifying and converting opportunitiesProject management experience and strong organizational skills Strong analytic skills with the ability to balance the appropriate candidate pipeline with the hiring needProficiency in Microsoft Office and strong experience with applicant tracking systemsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent in human resources, business or related field preferredEqual Opportunity Employer
