M&O Assistant

Insight Global is seeking a dedicated M&O Assistant that will work on maintenance, repair, minor construction, and inspection of assigned underground pipelines, pump and lift stations which comprise the wastewater collection systems of the Sacramento Area Sewer Districts (SacSewer) Agency.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
· Work as a member of a crew or independently on routine assignments.
· Perform pipe maintenance, minor construction, and repair.
· Conduct jet flush cleaning operations and TV inspections.
· Operate and maintain pumping stations.
· Cut and fit pipe, dig trenches, and mix grout and concrete.
· Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning of wastewater systems.
· Conduct scheduled maintenance for lift stations, motors, and pumps.
· Maintain landscaping, concrete work, and fencing.
· Respond to public service requests.
· Excavate for pipeline maintenance and repairs.
· Operate a laptop for data recording and report preparation.
· Use various hand tools, power equipment, and vehicles safely.
· Communicate courteously with the public.
· Assist in all aspects of collection systems maintenance.
· Inspect underground pipes using closed-circuit television.
· Repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical valves.
· Perform scheduled lubrication and clean wet pits.
· Install and remove flow measuring equipment and motors.
· Maintain traffic safety controls at work sites.
· Participate in the Confined Space Operations team.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
Compensation: $35.74/hr to $43.45/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
