Supervise Adult Medicine staff.Manages daily staffing for assigned clinic operations.Ensures nursing practice reflects established standards of care and practice and a culture that promotes patient safety.Ensures the safe transition of patients thru the continuum of care to include active participation of nursing staff in planning and coordinating patient care, and direct hand-off to next appropriate level of care.Under the general direction of the Manager/Director, shares leadership responsibilities for the Medical Assistant staff, including managing daily staffing plans.Responsible for managing and maintaining schedules for optimal efficiency.Works in partnership with Management and Physicians to ensure quality and efficiency in the management of patient care.Management and development of clinical staff.Contributes to operations management of assigned business unit(s).Participates in budget planning and management.Takes proactive initiative in quality management.This is a full time, benefited position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Certified MA plus two years applicable clinical experience.Requires excellent skills in communication, problem-solving, team development, planning and follow-through.Ability to exercise the authority and responsibility for assigned services based on the scope of the organization and complexity of patient care.Required Certification/Registration:
Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program or Military Corpsman program pursuant to the Division of Allied Health Professions.Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required in clinical settingPreferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
