**Heavy Machine Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Assembler to complete the assembly of intricate machines with a large number of parts. This role includes sub-assembly bench work, erection of large and complicated units, and requires considerable fitting, aligning, and adjusting to very close tolerances. The position involves highly diversified tasks such as layout work, drilling, tapping, and polishing to complete the final assembly of machines. **Responsibilities** + Complete assembly of intricate machines with a large number of parts + Perform sub-assembly bench work + Erect large and complicated units + Fit, align, and adjust components to very close tolerances + Conduct layout work, drilling, tapping, and polishing as needed + Use micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators + Proficiently use hand tools and power tools **Essential Skills & Qualifications** + 6-10 years of mechanical experience + Good attendance, attitude, and performance + Experience in the manufacturing field + Mechanically inclined and capable of learning new tasks + Ability to work from prints and follow demonstrated directions + Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators + Proficiency with hand tools and power tools + Adherence to all Company and OSHA safety rules + High School Diploma or GED + Hydraulic experience is a plus **Benefits** We offer 11 paid holidays, vacation and personal paid time off, and a clean, air-conditioned facility.
