**Job Title: Automated Packaging Machinery Builder**
**Job Description**
The individual in this position will work directly from blueprints and schematics to build automated packaging machinery. They will use hand tools, power tools, and a variety of other equipment to construct these machines. After building the machines, they will run tests on them, troubleshooting any issues that may arise with equipment not working correctly. They will also run wiring through the machines and complete the mechanical builds.
**Responsibilities**
+ Build automated packaging machinery using blueprints and schematics.
+ Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to construct machinery.
+ Run tests on completed machines to ensure proper functionality.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment performance.
+ Run wiring through machines and complete mechanical builds.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of machine assembly or higher-level mechanical assembly experience.
+ 1+ year of experience working with or building automated machinery.
+ 1+ year of experience with blueprints, schematics, or electrical diagrams.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 2-year associate's degree in automation and robotics, electronic technician, power and fluid, or automated packaging (preferred).

**Work Environment**
The facility is clean, well-lit, and air-controlled, reflecting the high-tech nature of the machines being built. The team-oriented environment fosters collaboration, with everyone working together and helping each other out. The company offers advancement opportunities and flexibility on shifts. The 1st shift has a flexible start time between 5:30 am - 7:30 am with an 8-10 hour shift, while the 2nd shift is fixed from 3:00 pm - 12:00 am, Monday to Friday, with built-in overtime. Most employees are currently working a minimum of 50 hours a week due to the volume of work, but there is flexibility in how these hours are completed.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of New Richmond, Wisconsin.
