**Job Title: Machine Builder**
**Job Description**
The person in this role will build assemblies, sub-assemblies, panels, and components for automated equipment. They will be working on the manufacturing floor, which is very clean and well-lit. The equipment is used in the manufacturing of medical devices, or aerospace and nuclear industries.
**Responsibilities**
+ Follow step-by-step instructions to connect and assemble components, both mechanically and electrically.
+ Perform mechanical assemblies of machines, sub-assemblies, and build machines from print.
+ Test and troubleshoot components using volt meters.
+ Use a Bill of Materials (BOM) and schematic to identify potential problems and organize by assembly.
+ Assist or supervise machine 'power up'.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 3+ years of experience in machine, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment building OR an AAS degree in automation and robotics, power and fluid, or as an electronic technician.
+ 3+ years of experience working from mechanical and electrical schematics, prints, or diagrams.
+ 1+ year of experience in troubleshooting and testing using volt meters.
+ Willingness to train and learn in other areas.

**Work Environment**
The work environment includes clean room or clean space manufacturing, with well-lit, temperature-controlled facilities. The shift is from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to start an hour earlier or later if needed after training.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shoreview, Minnesota.
