Job Title: Machine Builder

Job Description

The machine builder will be responsible for building and assembling panels attached to small to large industrial trash/waste compactors. The ideal candidate will need to know how to read a schematic provided by the engineer and will be responsible for assembling the panel accordingly. All wiring is color-coded, and the panels need to be neat and well-organized.

ResponsibilitiesBuild and assemble panels for industrial trash/waste compactors.Read and interpret schematics provided by engineers.Ensure all wiring is color-coded and panels are organized neatly.Perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks.Use power tools and equipment for assembly and fabrication.Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring as needed.Essential SkillsExperience with wiring and panel building.Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.Proficiency in using a tape measure.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of MIG and TIG welding.Skills in mechanical and electrical assembly.Familiarity with machine building and fabrication.Why Work Here?

We have a small, close-knit team with only 22 employees on the floor, aiming to expand to 26. With two buildings and four different departments, we provide a diverse and collaborative workspace.

Work Environment

The work environment includes two buildings with four departments: fabrication, building, final assembly, and painting. The facility is clean and organized despite being a fabrication environment. Work hours are from 6am to 2:30pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00
