Job Title: Production Machine Builder

Job Description

Build, maintain, and troubleshoot production machinery to maximize output of quality parts. Inspect parts on a continual basis to maintain quality standards per part requirements. Document quality measurements per operator inspection data sheets. Make adjustments to machinery and tooling to ensure part quality. Replace and/or repair production machine parts as required. Retrieve and move raw material into place as required. Add and/or change lubricants and coolants as required. Move completed parts into containers, and full containers to shipping area as required. Perform other duties as assigned.

ResponsibilitiesOperate, maintain, and troubleshoot production machinery.Inspect parts to maintain quality standards.Document quality measurements.Adjust machinery and tooling to ensure part quality.Replace or repair production machine parts as required.Retrieve and move raw materials as required.Add and change lubricants and coolants as required.Move completed parts to containers and shipping area.Perform other assigned duties.Essential SkillsExperience in the manufacturing industry.Proficiency in machine operation.Experience with press machines and inspection tools like micrometers and gages.Additional Skills & QualificationsBasic math skills.Ability to read and interpret engineered shop drawings.Effective communication skills.Proficient in using basic hand and power tools.Skilled in using precision measuring tools: micrometers, verniers, and optical comparators.Forklift operation experience.Ability to lift or move 50 lbs.Capability to stand for 8 hours.Requires standing for extended periods, bending, and reaching.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies. Collaborate and communicate with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products. Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments. Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area. Promptly unload trucks and deliveries, and sort and stock receivables. Maintain an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scan inventory, and count accurately. Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude. Provide additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.

This is a Contract position based out of East Providence, Rhode Island.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
