**Job Title: Machine Builder** **Job Description** The machine builder will be responsible for building and constructing mechanical components for automation equipment such as robotic cells and conveyor systems. These cells will be built and tested in-house to then be shipped out to various companies. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and install mechanical systems, primarily pneumatics and hydraulics. + Read blueprints and provide directions for laying out a cell in the field. + Replace gear boxes and motors. + Lay out reference points, fabricate, and assemble according to blueprints and engineering specifications. + Scribe cutting and bending lines on prefabricated parts, cutting, bending, and trimming parts according to layout. + Use hand files or portable grinders to clean parts or produce a close fit between parts. + Align components and secure them with bolts, screws, or rivets. **Essential Skills** + 5 years of machine building experience. + Experience working with both hydraulics and pneumatics. + Ability to read blueprints and schematics. + Experience in assembly, mechanical, electrical, and automation systems. + Proficiency with hand tools, electrical assembly, power tools, and fabrication. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in the automotive industry. + Ability to provide own hand tools. + Reference to validate the ability to read blueprints/schematics. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a long-term contract with no travel required and the opportunity to work in a close-knit environment. The position operates on the 1st shift from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, with occasional extended hours depending on the workload. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
