Job Title: Machine Technician - All Shifts - Starting at $37/hr!

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Repair Technician to join our team on the 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial electricity and mechanical systems, along with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain various equipment and systems. This role involves performing repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance, ensuring the smooth operation of automated equipment within the plant.

ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems using wiring diagrams and blueprints.Install electrical components such as conduit and outlets.Troubleshoot electrical mechanical motor controls and hydraulic circuits.Maintain and repair mechanical drive systems including gears, sprockets, chains, belts, bearings, and rollers.Utilize general fabrication skills such as welding, torching, machining, piping, and threading.Assist in advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair tasks throughout the plant.Keep accurate records of preventative maintenance activities.Provide support in the daily maintenance of automated equipment.Perform tasks based on dispatched service or daily/weekly work schedules.Essential Skills5 years of experience in machine repair and maintenance.Journeyman's card or an associate's degree/certification in a relevant field.General electric knowledge and experience with electrical systems.Proficiency in troubleshooting hydraulic circuits.Experience with mechanical drive systems (gears, sprockets, chains, belts, bearings, and rollers).Experience in troubleshooting mechanical motor controls.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of preventive maintenance practices.Experience with pneumatics and hydraulic systems.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Familiarity with conveyors and injection molding machines.Proficiency in using hand tools for machine repair.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position is based in a non-climate controlled environment. Monday through Friday. Due to current high demand, the team is also working on Saturdays.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $74880.00 - $77209.00

This is a direct hire position with a union company. Company provides uniforms and tool allowance. Techs will get $350 their first year and $500 after that.
