Design software libraries to assist in building and executing machine learning models. Develop computer algorithms to complete specific software tasks for cutting edge computer vision, speech, and machine learning experiences for the end users of our software stack. Build compiler toolchain to translate, convert and optimize machine learning models. Define and build user-facing application programming interfaces and software packages to enable users to interact with software. Interact with customers as needed and provide engineering roadmap to assist in prioritization of deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

 Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.Experience with compiler development and computer architectureML experienceA degree in the field of computer science or applied mathematicsExperience with software engineeringSolid intellectual ability, motivation, and a strong history of achievementExcellent oral and written communication skillsExperience with MLIR, MLIR Dialects (LinAlg, Affine), Pytorch 2.0, TVM, Triton, and/or LLVMSYCL experienceML applications and ML optimization experienceML architecture experienceHigh performance computing experiencePolyhedral compiler optimization experienceLoop transformation and vectorization experienceGPU programming, parallel programming experienceGeneral optimization experience

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Work on a wide range of ML compilersImprove ML compiler optimization capabilities through benchmark analysis and profilingInnovate new ML compiler and optimization algorithmsUpstream compiler algorithms to open-source compiler projectsAuthor research publications and represent the company in conferences and industry forumsFor senior levels - Lead and manage projects while doing substantial technical work

Level of Responsibility:
•    Works independently with minimal supervision.

•    Provides supervision/guidance to other team members.
•    Decision-making is significant in nature and affects work beyond immediate work group.
•    Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information. May require negotiation, influence, tact, etc. 

•    Has a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to make key decisions).

•    Tasks do not have defined steps; planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$160,500.00 - $240,700.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
