One of Insight Global's top upstream O&G clients is looking to hire an AI/ML Engineer to join a team within the Information Systems Department. The Information Systems department is structured to support every area of the oil production process through custom-built internal technical solutions (Real-Time Operations, Environmental and Economic Planning, Optimization, etc.). The team that this person would be joining is a new team dedicated to building an internal enterprise-level AI software to allow for easier data/reporting access across all departments. Currently, the platform architecture is about 60% complete, and production is in the initial stages. The AI/ML Engineer will be working hands-on throughout the entire product lifecycle, including gathering scope of requirements from various groups, contributing to platform architecture, developing AI/ML models, and adding/enhancing features during production. This person must be comfortable working onsite in downtown Houston 5 days /week.

Based on knowledge and years of experience, this position offers an hourly pay rate range of $70-80/hr.
