**Job Title: Machine Maintenance Mechanic** **Shift:** First **Location:** Tavares, FL (32778) **Pay:** $27-$28/hr **Job Description** Responsible for ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements on CNC machines. Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions and perform necessary repairs. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain production equipment from basic hydraulic equipment to complex CNC machinery, performing both electrical and mechanical work. + Complete projects such as mechanical and electrical hardware and software upgrades, calibrations, and retrofits. + Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools and equipment. + Perform maintenance functions such as replacing spindles, ball screws, bearings, slides, and other components of machine tools. + Demonstrate the ability to perform electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs used in electrical and mechanical maintenance technician work assignments. **Essential Skills** + Troubleshooting + Industrial maintenance mechanic + Compressor maintenance + Experience with compressors, pneumatics, and hydraulics + Rebuilding machines + Changing ball screws + Tracing electricity and amps + Experience with voltage meters **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with mechanical and electrical maintenance + Ability to perform both electrical and mechanical work + Proficiency in using machine shop tools and equipment **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a climate-controlled environment with a first shift schedule.
