**Job Title: Maintenance Engineer** **Job Description** As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper function and safety of all mechanical, electrical, and production equipment. This role includes performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and emergency fixes. You will also support personnel in equipment repairs and maintain building systems, such as HVAC and security systems. **Responsibilities** + Comply with all safety procedures and ensure departmental adherence to safe working practices. + Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and production equipment, including torque and air tool replacement. + Complete assigned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance tasks involving metal fabrication, welding, electrical and mechanical repairs, and hydraulic systems. + Maintain machinery and equipment, including pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, motors, and gearboxes. + Support personnel in performing production equipment repairs and preventative maintenance tasks. + Maintain and repair building systems, including HVAC, fire alarm, security, and CCTV systems. + Develop proficiency in at least one trade and be well-versed in multiple trades. + Use and maintain records in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). + Inspect and adjust equipment and systems, perform specific preventative maintenance services, and general maintenance functions. + Process equipment incident reports and complete maintenance paperwork accurately. + Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical systems and equipment that supply the building with heat, power, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration. + Perform periodic inspections of all mechanical and electrical equipment and systems. + Assist in developing, reviewing, and implementing preventative maintenance procedures. + Troubleshoot equipment problems and adjust systems to conserve energy. + Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and unusual occurrences. + Respond to emergency situations and perform necessary tasks to protect property and occupants, including periodic on-call work. + Delegate and supervise maintenance technicians to ensure timely and correct completion of work orders. + Maintain a positive customer service attitude and strive for complete customer satisfaction. + Comply with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards. + Be a team player committed to working in a quality improvement environment. + Perform other job-related duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. + Experience with preventative maintenance on production machines such as sand blasters, washers, dryers, paint lines, and buffers. + Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics, fabrication, HVAC, and maintenance repair. + Experience with Siemens PLC, electrical maintenance, and production equipment. + Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations. + Effective communication skills in one-on-one and small group situations. + Careful attention to detail and ability to perform essential functions with some supervision. + Flexibility and reliability in judgment for personal safety. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with 3-phase motors, 480V systems, variable speed drives (VSD/VFD). + Welding skills. + Ability to write simple correspondence. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k plan available after 30 days, and Blue Cross Blue Shield coverage.
