**Job Description** We are looking to hire an experienced Heavy Equipment Service Technician Mechanic to join our growing team. We are one of the largest Vactor and Elgin dealers in the United States and sell, service, and rent sewer cleaners, vacuum excavators, street sweepers, and related accessories. We maintain four full-service locations in Portland, Oregon; Kent, Washington; Fairfield, California; and Salt Lake City, Utah. Our customer base consists of the largest municipalities and contractors in the Western U.S. Our equipment is critical to keeping our streets and sewer systems clean, locating buried infrastructure during construction projects, and helping to build and maintain our electrical grid. We are looking for highly talented individuals with ambition and a desire to advance their careers and grow into higher roles as their abilities allow. **Hard Skills** + Experience in hydraulics, electrical, and pneumatic systems on different types of machinery + A complete toolset + Clean driving record + Ability to pass a drug screening + Willing to learn both Electrical and Hydraulic schematics + Experience with street sweepers and combination sewer cleaning trucks (a plus) + Willing to obtain a Class B CDL **Soft Skills** + High ambition + Desire to advance career + Professional development **Job Type** This is a permanent position. **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Kent, Washington. **Work Environment** Small family-owned shop with a stable work environment year-round. Work hours are typically 7-5 with some flexibility.
