As a Machine Operator, you will set up, run & maintain automated machines in Cuff Department. You must have a high level of mechanical skills with the capability to use root cause analysis to troubleshoot machining issues to diagnose and fix issues that arise with a high sense of urgency to achieve departmental goals.

What You'll Be Doing:Set-up, run and maintain the automated machines in the Cuff Department
Read and follow drawings and other related instructional and quality documents related to the product
Operate Calibrated Leak Testing Equipment, plus use calipers and other measuring devices
Perform routine assembly operations, including folding, labeling and boxing product.
Use basic computer software, such as SAP, HMI controls &/or PC software to keep the machines operational
Diagnose, fix, or get technical support to take care of faulty operations and/or equipment malfunctions
Work with Group Leaders, Supervisors, technical support and/or other team members to offer suggestions for improvements, help to resolve manufacturing issues, and monitor production for manufacturing results.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory count of completed work as well as monitoring work and insuring requirements are being met regarding schedule, quality and quantity.
You may package component parts or assemblies for shipment, ensuring protection from potential shipment damage and that all vital parts and instructions are present.
What You'll Bring:High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
You must demonstrate a strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read drawings with solid computer skills.
Basic computer skills, SAP and HMI experience is a plus.
Leadership skills preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures accurately.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and supervisors.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
· Experience with quality control procedures and documentation is a plus.
Good mechanical dexterity/eyesight, be able to read, write and use basic math; maintain a high degree of accuracy in performing repetitive tasks.
The successful candidate is able to adapt to a changing work environment, including increased automation, change in production methods or sequences and rotation among workstations.
You may be requested to work overtime, as needed.
Must have good verbal and written skills, can keep records, have basic problem-solving skills and able to train and work with a diverse group of people.
Physical Requirements:Working Hours: 6:45am to 7:00pm (days) OR6:45pm to 7:00am (nights) - Every other full weekend off.
Able to lift 40lbs and work in various positions: standing, sitting, and working on repetitive jobs/assemblies include hand manipulation.
Visual acuity of 20/25 or better, with corrective lenses as needed, required.
Color visual acuity required
