Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team. You will initially train on the 1st shift for 2-6 weeks before transitioning to the afternoon shift from 2:48pm to 11:00pm. In this role, you will be working in a dynamic environment operating presses and other machinery. This position requires physical strength and endurance, as you will be lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for most of the shift.

ResponsibilitiesOperate presses in the molding department.Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.Visually inspect products for quality assurance.Load and unload rubber into the machine.Train to work in several departments.Stand at one machine for the majority of the shift performing repetitive tasks.Reach into machines to load and unload products.Use hands extensively for loading products, lifting, and packaging products.Transport materials to the next station in the manufacturing process.Complete production tickets and press production sheets.Complete downtime sheets.Pick up and sweep scrap.Stand, walk, bend, and twist more than 80% of the workday.Essential SkillsExperience as a machine operator and in general production.Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.Experience in reading work instructions.Willingness to work 60 hours a week.Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing and machine operating.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust be able to work in a non-temperature controlled environment.No facial piercings or they must be removed.Must have steel toe boots.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The Middlefield Plant location employs 104 people on the plant floor, with a goal to increase to 160. The work environment is not temperature-controlled, and the presses operate at 300 degrees, making it very hot despite fans running 24/7. This is a physically demanding job, often requiring standing at one press for an entire shift. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $50000.00/yr.

$2,000 sign on bonus - paid out $500 every 90 days
