In this role, you will set up machines, ensure proper maintenance of machines, and operate machines to manufacture quality products.
Key Responsibilities: Setup and operate manual machines Work from process sheets, drawings, or instructions given by the supervisor to perform production tasks Follow the standard operating procedures and quality standards Maintain machine and work area in a clean and safe manner Inspect parts throughout the process and use power tools when necessary Document production data in the shop floor reporting system Work in other departments as assigned 1st Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Key Competencies: Physically able to stand for the entire shift and handle heavy items, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning components Communication skills; read and comprehend instructions and complete simple logs and reports in English Strong commitment to follow safety guidelines and procedures and utilize provided safety equipment Knowledge of basic machining practices and materials General mechanical knowledge Reliable team player with a positive attitude Basic Math SkillsTo perform this job successfully, you must be able to report daily to the company’s Nashville, TN branch to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
