Job Title: Machine Operator | $20+HR | 1st or 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Machine Operator to join our team. The role involves tending to multiple Injection Mold Machines, starting with one machine and gradually taking on more responsibility as you receive training on different machines. The machines have run times ranging from 60 seconds to 3 1/2 minutes. You will be responsible for visual inspection, packaging of products, operating a sonic welder, and performing small sub-assemblies as required.

ResponsibilitiesTend to 1 to 3 Injection Mold Machines, starting with one and increasing as trained.Monitor machines with run times from 60 seconds to 3 1/2 minutes.Conduct visual inspection and packaging of products.Operate a sonic welder and perform tasks such as welding smoothie cups and inserting magnets.Change over machines and run 3 to 5 different products throughout the week.Perform small sub-assemblies and trim any excess flash from products.Heat up resin to meet quality standards.Essential SkillsExperience in a manufacturing or production environment.Ability to follow work instructions.Proficiency in visual inspection of products.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with injection mold machinery is a plus and may lead to direct placement.Familiarity with general labor tasks, hand tools, inspection, and machine operating.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The manufacturing environment is very clean, temperature-controlled, and drama-free, making it a pleasant place to work. The work is not very physically demanding, and you will be part of a production team of around 20 people per shift. Our shifts include: 1st Shift - 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday; 2nd Shift - 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, Monday to Friday ($1.00 shift differential); and 3rd Shift - 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, Sunday to Thursday ($2.00 shift differential). Please note that when overtime is posted, it is mandatory.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35360.00 - $39520.00/yr.
