Must be able to read a tape measure, blueprints, and schematics!

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Machine Operator operates the CNC machine to cut and build rollers. Sets up and operates a variety of machines. 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

Measuring and setting up machines to manufacture a high volume of partsPerforming machine shop and mold press operations to support AssemblyDetecting defective materials and questionable conditions and reports to the managerMaintaining the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly conditionFollowing safety regulationsPerforming preventative maintenance on machinesEmployees are responsible for complying with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures. Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction. 

 

Qualifications

 

High school diploma or equivalent preferredMinimum of 1 year of related experienceAbility to use a band saw, hand tools and calipers and perform milling, turning, drilling, taping, deburring, molding, and all bench operationsAbility to read blueprintsBasic math skillsKnowledge of standard and metric measurementsKnowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniquesSelf-motivated and detail-orientedTeam orientation
