Job Summary:

You will be responsible for setting up, operating and troubleshooting Surface Mount Pick & Place, Screen Printing, Automated Optical Inspection and Reflow Oven machines used in circuit card assembly.  You will be under limited supervision, responsible for moderately complex manufacturing processes utilizing automated equipment and hand assembly.  You will perform semi-routine equipment set-up, operation, and adjustment as well as ensuring processes and equipment remain within acceptable company manufacturing standards.  You will also perform quality auditing, testing, and troubleshooting functions and maintain necessary documentation.

 

Essential Functions:

Load component trolleys using hand-held barcode scanner Program and Operate screen printer Inspect boards using a microscope Run SMT Pick & Place machines Troubleshoot pickup and placement errors Operate Automated Inspection Machine Operate Reflow Oven Service work cell and end item customers as needed Flex work schedule to maintain processes and work flow as needed Perform PRI (Post Reflow Inspection) Rework assemblies and log data as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 4 years related experience Knowledge: Competent in interpreting applicable specifications, understand operating principles of the machinery; Understand general shop computations; Knowledgeable of cellular manufacturing Skills/Abilities: Ability to read and understand production or engineering prints, production planning information and assembly aids, such as illustrations and wiring diagrams. Ability to understand oral and written instructions pertaining to work related matter, and to maintain routine records. Accurate color vision and depth perception; and other vision capability required by area of assignment Ability to work satisfactorily on a sustained basis within any physical and environmental requirements applicable to area of assignment, e.g., highly repetitive work, hot tools or materials, epoxy or other chemical agents, fumes, noise, oily or similar conditions. General troubleshooting and simple machine maintenance skills Education / Certification: High school education or equivalent. Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Working Conditions:

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to safety glasses, heel straps, and shop coats Requires lifting 25 lbs

Top Benefits:

Salary range: $19.97 to 29.51 plus 10% shift differential. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
