Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Operator- 2nd Shift to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical abilities, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to maintaining quality standards, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Machine Operator- 2nd Shift
**Location:** New Paltz, NY
**Pay Range:** $18 to $19 an hour depending on experience. More for experienced Flexographic Die Cutter Operator.
**Shift-** 2nd Shift- Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12:00am
**What's the Job?**
+ Assisting in the setting up and running of high-speed manufacturing equipment.
+ Loading raw materials into machines and palletizing finished products for delivery.
+ Following operators' directions in adjusting machine parts as needed to ensure proper speed, pressure, and material for quality production.
+ Cleaning high-speed manufacturing equipment to maintain operational efficiency.
+ Ensuring the work environment remains uncluttered, clean, and well-maintained to promote safety.
**What's Needed?**
+ Prior printing machine experience or a strong desire and passion to learn on the job.
+ Good mechanical abilities with basic math skills.
+ Ability to measure to the 16th of an inch.
+ Willingness to work on multiple pieces of equipment.
+ High school degree, GED, or equivalent working experience.
