Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Machine B Operator to join our 2nd Shift Manufacturing team at our Solon, OH facility. 2nd shift hours are from 3:00pm - 11:00pm Monday - Friday.

Primary responsibilities will include:

Operating filling and packaging equipment according to proceduresTending to machines that perform various packaging functions such as filling, labeling, packing or closing containersResponsible for minor adjustments, set-ups, changeovers, loading, maintenance, cleaning and general operation of various filling and packaging machinesOrganizing and performing job in accordance with bills of material and routing instructionsResponsible for quality inspection of goods to ensure that product is packaged according to specificationsCompletion of all required paperwork for production as needed by MFG proceduresIdentifying problems and assisting in troubleshootingAssisting in training of new operators and assisting other teams as neededPromoting and following all safety guidelines and procedures, and recommending safety improvements as neededTow motor experience required

Pay Rate is $18-$20 an hour based on experience.  Plus $.50 an hour shift differential for 2nd shift. 

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D)At least 1-2 years’ experience working in a Manufacturing environmentCertified to drive reach trucks, fork trucks, and low-lifts
