This position is 3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday 10 pm - 6 am

\n

This is a Union role and the hourly rate is $31.60/hour + 1.35/hour shift premium

\n

Produce high quality products and services for our customers. You will assemble and inspect product to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production and quality improvements.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n\n\tSet-up, operate and maintain such machines as drill press, handscrew, punch press, spot welders, engravers, shapers, lathes, tappers, hobbers, grinders, and several types of milling machines, following prescribed procedures and/or standard shop practices.\n\tJudgement to set up machines, make and check parts to maintain quality standards and to report troubles to Group Leader and/or Supervisor for analysis and remedy.\n\tMay be required to train another operator.\n\tEmbrace and engage in the Honeywell Operating System (HOS) including activities, but not limited to Safety & Behavioral Observation Process (BOP), 5S, Continuous Improvement (Kaizen), Tiered Accountability Process, Standard Work, Rapid Problem Solving (RPS), Built In Quality (BIQ), Coaching, Total productive Maintenance (TPM) and Knowledge Sharing.\n\n

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

\n

The hourly pay for this position is $31.60/hour.

\n

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\n\t3 years of outside machine shop experience or vocational machine shop training.\n\n

WE VALUE
