Will occasionally work in the Assembly or Deburring areas if needed. Essential Functions: + Tends machines and presses in Forge, Rotary or CNC Departments. + Check for and file paperwork for completed jobs. + Make periodic visual and gauged quality checks; complete all quality paperwork and approvals. + Pull SPC on incoming raw materials. + Maintain a high degree of quality and safety. + Ability to give operating instructions when needed. + Ability to train, instruct and assist trainees through the training period. + Use of judgment to plan, perform and make decisions as to set ups and operations within recognized procedures. + Proceed on work assignments with minimum supervision and assistance. + Other duties as assigned by Supervisor. + Must be able to stand, sit, reach, bend, twist, reach overhead, walk, and carry brass parts + Must be able to lift an average of 40 lbs. in baskets, boxes, etc. on an average 8-hour shift Requires Skills/Abilities: + Mental and visual acuity for production of quality product Education and Experience: + Minimum High School diploma or equivalent preferred + Machine classes or vocational training helpful + Entry Level: ability to train on all job functions + Machining experience helpful
