Machine Operator

Perform job with utmost Caution and Safety.

The Machine Operator works safely to operate all machinery on the production floor while ensuring all finished product meets food safety and quality requirements. You will report to Team Lead Production onsite at the North Mankato, MN plant.

Responsibilities (not all inclusive):

Follow all safety procedures.Pre-inspect workstation(s) to ensure all equipment is in safe working condition.Maintain a clean and organized production area to promote a safe work environment.Perform hourly checksVerify lot and sell by codes on bags and labels for accuracy.Maintain and demonstrate an understanding of processing specifications for varying products and materials.Demonstrate an understanding of electronic inventory tracking system (SAP).Order and receive materials.Perform pre/post sanitation tasks to clean and sanitize all production equipmentSafely operate, perform preventative maintenance, and perform corrective maintenance on the following equipment to exceed planned performance measures4 Kettle automated popping system (G-Zilla)Hayssen Sandiacre vertical form fill and seal machineIshida scaleXray inspection machineConveyors / FastbacksControl, maintain and repair equipment throughout the plant.Help with maintenance related improvement projectsComplete proper paperwork for maintenance work ordersEducation or ExperienceMechatronics Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or 1+ years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
