Volt is immediately hiring Machine Operator(s) for an Aerospace company in Rancho Dominguez/Compton, CA.

\r\n\r\n

As a machine operator you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tPerform complete and independent setup of various machines reads sketches, oral and written instructions to determine the sequence of operations to be performed, dimensions and tolerances to be held, tools to use, method of locating, aligning, and holding work and feeds and speeds.\r\n\tMake machine adjustments for efficient machining operations.\r\n\tUse precision measuring instruments, machines, and gauges to check own work for conformance to specifications.\r\n\tAs required, pre-set and/or sharpen cutting tools.\r\n\tRecognize improper machine functions and take corrective action and provide information to resolve discrepancies.\r\n\tReplenish coolant, change accessible filters, and lubricate own machine tool as required.\r\n\tCheck and report damage.\r\n\tHas knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.\r\n\r\n\r\n

*This is a long-term with possibility of converted to company

Schedule: Monday through Friday plus OT as needed

\r\n\r\n

1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm

\r\n\r\n

2nd shift 2:15pm-10:45pm

\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $17/hr

\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
