Bonney Staffing has partnered with a production facility that makes flexible barriers, modular insulation kits, reflective and oil resistant fabrics.

The Machine Operator job in Auburn, Maine is responsible for working the Weaving Machine and/or the Textile Machine. 

While working the Textile Machine you’ll have a solid understanding of operating wide looms to create cloth, tending the creels/spools that supply continuous yarn, replace cones of yarn as needed, and repair broken ends of the  yarn.  When working the Textile Machine you operate equipment such as Spinning Frames, Twisters, Blend & Card Machines, operate wide and narrow looms to create cloth, tend the creels/spools that supply continuous yarn, stitch, cut, sew, fabricate, and operate the quilting Machine, as well as prepare and feed cloth into Ovens and or Furnace.

You will be responsible to package products and maintain all necessary quality and production logs while following all company safety policies and procedures and reporting all accidents, hazards, and equipment issues. This is a full-time opportunity with multiple shifts available.  

Machine Operator Qualifications: 

High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing experience.  Ability to perform basic math functions.  Ability to obtain Fork Truck Operator certification.  Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds.  Good communication skills. 

Machine Operator Details: 

Schedule: Multiple shifts (6:30am-4:00pm, 4:00pm-1:30am). Three Day Weekends – No Swing Shifts! Pay Rate: $18.00/hr Start Date: ASAP
