Machine Operator

Job Description:

Responsibilities 

The Manufacturing Line Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, feeding raw material, monitoring, troubleshooting and report any required maintenance on assigned production lines. 

The Manufacturing Line Operator will also be responsible for inspecting the product and adjusting as necessary to maintain quality. 

Keep work areas clean to avoid product contamination and maintain a safe workplace. 

Follow all safety guidelines, GMPs and regulations laid out by OSHA and this organization. 

Constantly monitor the appearance of the product and take the necessary corrective actions to maintain it within specifications. 

Requirements: 

2-3 years of experience operating equipment in a food production environment

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 

Working in a cold/wet environment (35-40 degrees) for extended periods of time in warehouse.  

Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse.  

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. 

Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines and inspect product produced. 

Experience and Ideal Candidate 

Preferred 2+ years (1 minimum) experience in a Production/Manufacturing environment as a Machine Operator 

Accuracy and attention to detail with ability to multi-task 

Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving 

Familiarity with basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, small wrenches etc.
