Principal Accountabilities:
Direct responsibility for the day-to-day operations of running packaging, filling, and palletizing equipmentWill be required to make process changes to the production equipmentFrequently assists other operators on the equipmentOperate mobile equipment including forklift, and pallet jack, and help replenish raw materials such as corrugate, stretch wrap, caps, etc.Transact in plant warehouse management system/SAPPerform operator care on the lineParticipate in training, communicate, and follow up on what is needed for the production line to succeedComplete all daily tasks and keep the plant audit ready at all timesUnderstanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulationsMaintaining a safe and clean work environmentOther duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employerCargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facilityAbility to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)Basic computer skillsAbility to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodationAbility to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipmentAbility to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance noticeAt least 6 months of experience in production-related work
Preferred Qualifications:
Forklift experienceExperience with SAP and automated plant control systemsHigh school diploma/GED or a minimum of one-year equivalent work experience
