Operate assigned machines in area to produce customer products, meeting company production and quality standards. Visually inspect all parts and gage according to procedures to ensure compliance with specifications. Track scrap parts. Adjust machines to bring parts back into specifications whenever necessary. Seek assistance when needed. Change blocks or tooling as required. Check machine coolant and oil levels for proper operating levels, add as necessary. Perform tool changeovers as required. Fill carousel and load parts onto washer as required. Complete and maintain all paperwork, SPC charts, records, documents, etc. as required. Notify shift supervision of major problems. Recommend methods to improve productivity and quality while reducing costs. Assist other operators when needed. Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.
