**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** Machine Operator. Amazing shift with built-in OT! Also get a 3-day weekend EVERY week. **Opening: 1st shift M-Th 6am-6pm** Reviews work orders, product specifications and special instructions to ensure thorough understanding of production requirements. Asks for clarification if needed. Assists in loading and set up of machines in accordance with instructions. Follows specifications to mix chemical/adhesive solution specified in work order, and safely pumps solution into machine. Monitors production process closely in order to quickly identify any quality issues. Stops production run immediately if problems are detected, and alerts machine operator II and/or production manager. Knows how to operate up to two machines competently. Assists in operating additional machines as needed. Follows all instructions given by machine operator II or production manager and asks questions when necessary. Identifies all finished products with accurate part number, work order number, lot number, and any other information required to effectively identify the product. Identifies equipment problems and informs maintenance and/or production manager. Makes suggestions to improve quality, efficiency, safety, or communication. Verifies that the final product produced meets quality standards and product specifications. Follows all safety practices and immediately corrects or reports unsafe conditions. Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
