**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Machine Operator to join our team. Your daily tasks will involve general labor which includes heavy lifting (50+ lbs), moving at a fast pace, and standing for 8 hours. You will be loading machines with paper and wood products. The role also involves inputting and checking measurements, lifting raw materials, and record keeping. You will be cross-trained in all departments and work closely with the supervisor, taking responsibility for running lines at the warehouse. **Hard Skills** + Proficiency in reading a ruler + CNC operation and programming (preferred) + General math skills + Ability to lift heavy items + Record keeping **Soft Skills** + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment + Ability to stand for long hours + Ability to learn and adapt quickly in multiple departments + Ability to work alongside supervisors and take initiative **Shift** Day Shift: Monday - Friday 6am-2:45pm; Will change to 6:00am - 4:45pm, Monday - Thursday in the summer **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Virginia Beach, Virginia. **Work Environment** Our work environment includes a small production floor **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
