**Skion Operator** **Job Description** As a Skion Operator, you will utilize batch sheets, stand-up forklifts, and hoists to process orders and load film rolls onto machines. Your responsibilities include loading the machine 4-6 times per day, cleaning the machinery every hour, and ensuring attention to detail. You must be comfortable working around an acetone smell and willing to cross-train. This position requires you to work on the 1st shift for training and then move to a rotating shift schedule. **Hard Skills** + Utilize batch sheets + Operate stand-up forklifts + Process orders + Utilize hoists + Load film rolls onto machines + Clean machinery + Chemical or paint experience + Machine operating experience **Soft Skills** + Attention to detail + Willingness to cross-train **Job Type** This is a permanent position. **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Schererville, Indiana. **Work Environment** The facility is large with 40 total employees, 30 of whom work on the floor. All areas are temperature controlled except one, which has an air-conditioned tent for employees. The facility manufactures metallic coatings for sport drink films, high-end automotive paint, nail polish, and labels. It is part of the Altana Partner umbrella, with two partner companies at this location.
