**_Machine operator_** **_$17.50/hour_** **_Streamwood, Illinois_** **_Job description:_** As a Machine Operator, you will be cross trained in multiple areas based on needs. This includes learning to operate drill presses, shear presses, punch presses, straightening presses, torches, overhead cranes, forklifts, Combi Lift, saws, and more. You will be tasked with loading and unloading machines, monitoring the machine as it runs to ensure product makes it through the process, cleaning quench tanks, maintaining clean work areas, and performing housekeeping and special clean up duties as assigned. You will also use hand and power tools, and the overhead crane to lift and move products. **_Qualifications:_** + Operating Machines + Operating Presses + Operating Torches + Operating Overhead Cranes + Forklift Operation + Saws Operation **_Schedule & Wage:_** 1st Shift: 8AM – 4PM 2nd Shifts:4PM - 12AM 3rd Shifts: 12AM – 8AM **_Work Environment:_** You will be working around a lot of furnaces, heat treating machines, heavy CNC Machinery, forklifts, and cranes. It gets extremely hot in the summer from the heat generated from production. Big garage doors help cool the place down, and they offer free Gatorade. The facility is massive - over 10 different buildings.
