**Job Title: Machine Operator - 1st Shift** **Job Description** We are seeking a machine operator to start and stop the concrete block machine. Responsibilities include ensuring blocks stay in line, performing daily cleaning, and changing out programs. Operators will produce concrete products from raw materials to the Yard stage, inspect product quality according to standards, and monitor the operation of various equipment. Additionally, operators will maintain, adjust, and perform minor repairs on the block machine and associated equipment, while major repairs will be handled by the maintenance team. Keeping the work area orderly and hazard-free, changing molds as required, and performing daily preventative maintenance are also key duties. **Hard Skills** + Machine Operation + Manufacturing + Production + Cleaning + Labor **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Odenton, Maryland. **Work Environment** This is a loud, somewhat dirty plant environment that manufactures stone pavers and landscaping blocks. The plant is dusty and dirty, and operators will wear a hard hat, ear plugs, and mask while working. The environment can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
