Base pay starts at $16.00 - $17.00 per hour, plus 0.30 per hour shift differential
Shift: Second Shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include working with metal fabrication equipment material handlingAbility to comprehend and execute work assignments with minimal follow upCustomer service and quality drivenHigh level of mechanical aptitudeAbility to be cross trained in other functionsAbility to use diverse hand tools and equipment to perform dutiesBasic math, reasoning, problem solving and computer skills Qualifications Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 2 years production and/or shipping experience, preferably in the metals/materials industryExecute assignments as given by the Supervisor or Group LeaderImmediately inform supervision of all equipment, process, material, safety, and quality concernsFollow all work instructions, policies, work rules, safety guidelines, and work proceduresTraining other team members as assignedParticipate in daily housekeeping of assigned areas and other cleanup efforts as assignedParticipate in problem solving, continuous improvement, and customer complaint resolution effortsRead and understand product blueprints and technical data sheets as requiredPerform basic preventative equipment maintenance as assignedAccept reassignment to other departments as workload dictateAbility to lift up to 40 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist Additional informationSite Address: 701 S.
