Machine Operator

We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our Group and work together with our teams in driving World Class Excellence within our Temperature and Systems Production Center . Within Temperature, we utilize state-of-the-art production techniques and manufacturing technologies to ensure the quality of the instrumentation produced, as well as the safety of employees and the environment.
What is the role about?
Responsible for day-to-day operations of automatic and manual machines to accomplish high quality production requirements. Implements and executes operator preventative maintenance tasks to support machines. Completes production plan as provided by the Supply Chain team to ensure on-time delivery. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Which tasks will you perform?
You will:
Prepare orders for production by picking components according to bill of material, cutting raw materials to length as specifiedSolder and assemble wires to electronic componentsUtilize computer applications to perform automated testing of devices and close production orders upon completionBuff/Polish assemblies to hygienic 3A certificationPerform visual inspection/testing and functional testing during fabrication processesPerform and execute non-destructive testing in accordance with manufacturing standards and internal processes per customer requestsMaintain accurate inventory, cataloging adjustments, and scrapUse production and software systems to look up or enter information that supports the areaServe as backup to Fabrication Technician on specific processesAssist with cross-training employees on production processesAll other duties as assigned.

CNC lathe experienceAbility to read and understand basic blueprintsAbility to multi-task and be self-motivatedAble to use hand tools, power tools, and operate machinesAble to follow written and verbal directionsMust be flexible and willing to learn different positionsHigh School diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1-2 years related experience or equivalent professional training.
