Machine Operator
**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** The Encapsulation Operator is responsible for the operation and set-up of Liquid Filling machines and Banding Sealing machines in accordance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and cGMP regulations to ensure products meet applicable quality standards. This position includes set-up, operation, cleaning, and light mechanical adjustments. The Operator is accountable for overall production line performance including safety, quality, and line efficiency. Operators must be capable of operating multiple similar machines at one time and learning to operate a variety of equipment within the manufacturing area. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate Liquid Filling machines and Banding Sealing machines according to SOPs and cGMP regulations. + Perform cleaning and light mechanical adjustments on machines. + Ensure overall production line performance including safety, quality, and efficiency. + Operate multiple similar machines simultaneously. + Make necessary machine adjustments to ensure smooth operation for required quality and quantity. + Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, GMPs, and SOPs. + Complete and sign documentation such as operation logs and batch records in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. + Inspect products for quality during operation and perform all required sampling and testing. + Perform basic and routine maintenance activities. + Cross-train in other areas to support the manufacturing process as needed. + Monitor, clean, sanitize, and reassemble all required equipment. + Meet all safety expectations and follow all safety practices. + Maintain proper gowning and hygiene to ensure the integrity of the product as per cGMPs and company policies. + Perform all other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor. + Comply with all job-related safety and other training requirements. + Keep management informed of area activities and any significant problems. **Essential Skills** + Experience in encapsulation and liquid encapsulation processes. + Machine operating skills with 2+ years of experience in GMP environments (pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food, etc.). + Mechanically inclined with the ability to perform light mechanical adjustments. + Experience in production, particularly within the pharmaceutical industry. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to make necessary machine adjustments for smooth operations. + Full compliance with company policies, GMPs, and SOPs. + Capability to complete and sign necessary documentation accurately. + Ensuring product quality through inspection, sampling, and testing. + Basic routine maintenance skills. + Cross-training ability to support various manufacturing processes. + Maintaining proper hygiene and gowning standards. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that values safety, quality, and efficiency. The company currently runs 5 days a week across 3 shifts. Starting in January 2025, we will be operating 24/7 with shifts rotating between 4-12 hour days one week and 3-12 hour days the following week.
