Our client in Clearwater, FL is currently seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join their team. This role is pivotal in supporting manufacturing and engineering processes with a strong emphasis on process simplification and improvement. The Day-to-Day:

Set up and operate equipment such as lathes, drills, milling machines, grinders, and saws using pre-established processes and programs for the production of parts and tools.Utilize precision measuring tools to ensure that in-process or finished products meet specified tolerances, demonstrating a strong acumen with standard machinist metrology devices.Assist in the coordination of sending and receiving water testing kits for field teams.Perform routine and corrective maintenance for machine shop equipment following internal procedures.Complete documentation for tracking time and cost related to development activities.Provide design consultation for manufacturability and ensure the timely completion of parts.Participate in teams to drive improvements in processes and documentation.Support new product development requirements by performing assigned work as needed.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma.Minimum of 1 year of machine shop experience.Detail-oriented with strong oral and written communication skills.Ability to perform detail-oriented work and complete projects on time.Basic computer knowledge.

Pay Rate/Shifts:

$14.00 to $15.00 per hourMonday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PMMonday to Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AMMonday to Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
