Job Responsibilities:

Cut roll stock to the required sheet sizeSet up machine from roll stand to deliveryEnsure that the correct length is logged and verified by helper, another operator or leadRemove loads form the machine and place in staging / sheeted WIP areaChallenge run speed throughout the shift and during each job changeEmpty waste bins and keep machine area cleanEnsure that paper is not piled under the knife blade at end of shiftMakes adjustments on the machine and ensures that mechanical parts are running smoothlyFixes and cleans machine (Preventive maintenance and other general repairs)Use of clamp truck to move and load paperProperly mount the rolls using a roll standEnsure safe work habitsProper and effective make-readyComplete all paperwork and do quality checksPerform other duties as assigned by management     

 

Job Requirements:

Prior Machine Operator or Sheeter Operator experience preferredAbility to use and interpret a tape measureWork overtime to cover vacation and/or absencesWork at or below shoulder level   Basic math and computer skillsClamp truck experience Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment.
