**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator with experience in hand grinding and general labor within a manufacturing environment. You will utilize a 17-inch hand grinder to grind various steel and copper parts. Your role includes cutting and grinding parts daily using a tape measure, cleaning parts, and assembling kits for shipment. This position requires the ability to follow basic work orders and use hand and power tools effectively. **Hard Skills** + 1 year of hand grinding experience (preferred) + 1 year of general labor experience in a manufacturing environment (required) + Ability to use a tape measure for cutting and grinding parts + Proficiency in using hand and power tools **Soft Skills** + Ability to work on feet for extended periods + Strong teamwork and self-monitoring skills + Attention to detail **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in VERONA, Pennsylvania. **Work Environment** This is a large, clean manufacturing facility with heating in the winter but no air conditioning in the summer. The facility has a mix of modern and older machinery spread across several buildings. Attendance and performance are closely monitored. The culture emphasizes a 'self and team monitored' approach where co-workers actively ensure collective effort.
