**Job Title: Plastic Sheet Production Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality plastic sheet products through various extrusion and value-added processes. You will also ensure the proper packaging of products according to customer specifications. This includes machine setup, troubleshooting, quality control inspections, and material handling.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform all duties and tasks in a safe manner.
+ Operate various extrusion machines to produce and maintain quality plastic sheet products.
+ Meet production and quality standards.
+ Clean and maintain components and equipment.
+ Band and wrap finished products.
+ Perform quality checks and complete inspection records as required.
+ Actively participate in plant housekeeping activities.
+ Handle materials using a forklift.
+ Effectively operate plant manufacturing processes as evaluated by the process checklists.
+ Complete the Production Operator progression and process checklists from Entry level Operator 1 to higher levels, becoming a subject matter expert, and training skills and process knowledge up to Operator level 2-4 abilities.
+ Operate assigned processes without support.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in machine operating and machine operation.
+ Knowledge of extrusion processes.
+ Troubleshooting skills.
+ Ability to lift 40-50 lbs comfortably.
+ Willingness to learn how to drive a forklift.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
+ Ability to work various shifts: 1st (6am - 2pm), 2nd (2pm - 10pm), and 3rd (10pm - 6am).
+ Optional overtime every other weekend.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of DEFOREST, Wisconsin.
